A modern twist on the traditional Old Fashioned, with honey and ginger to provide additional layers of flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz honey syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 slices fresh ginger (or ginger syrup)
- Ice
- Orange peel (for garnish)
Instructions:
Muddle ginger slices and honey syrup in a mixing glass.
Add whiskey and bitters, then stir.
Strain into your Honey Bee Wine Glass with a large ice cube.
Garnish with an orange peel.
